When it comes to the home I take things pretty seriously. Or not serious at all... haha What I mean is, I love unique things and so my decor has become pretty eclectic. I recently stumbled upon the most amazing artist Merijam. She is the owner and and creator of what I think is the coolest most unique furniture - Folk Project . All one of a kind and hand made pieces using Guatemalan and Mexican Huipil a traditional costume warn by women. Her work showcases their craft bringing it to life in a new medium giving them the acknowledgment they incredible women deserve. I love that people follow their dreams and do something they believe is beautiful. I love that through instagram and blogging I have been able to find people like this. I love this chair and picture it being in my family forever, passing it down, having it in my recording studio one day ;)
Who ever said you can't wake up on a Monday and dress like it's the weekend? Cole and I walked a few blocks this morning over to our favorite coffee shop to get our favorite breakfast bagel sandwich which we share every other week ... AKA - trying to resist going there every day.
Hope everyone is off to a great week! I am going to Utah this week to see my little brother who I haven't seen in two years and I am over the moon excited! yeeekkk!
I never write about a product unless I have used it and really trust it. I pretty much have the straightest hair on the planet and so I have to use a lot of texturizing spray or shampoo and conditioner that adds volume. I like my hair to look like I haven't done it... so with straight hair it's a little harder to get that messy vibe. I used @AwapuhiWildGinger Texturizing Sea Spray shampoo and conditioner. Lather, Rinse, Repeat.
Mexico was just what we needed last week! We were traveling around with our Australian friends from Little Tienda shooting their new look book for next season and had an absolute blast. It was very hot, very sticky but full of amazing clothes, fantastic locations, the yummiest food and lots of sun! These are just some behind the scenes photos, I can't wait to share with you the other million photos we took tho! All pictures by my lover Cole. I had a lot of swimsuit questions so I attached those below. Also best hotel on planet earth, Nomade Tulum. . . everyone must go! Most relaxing, gorgeous and delicious.
